Job Title: Area Manager
We are recruiting an experienced area manager to work across Dublin.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
* Drive sales, margin, and return on space to agreed targets.
* Improve the overall commercial performance of both the Retail and Dispensary areas of the business.
* Delve exceptional retail standards across your territory.
* Develop and motivate all pharmacy employees to deliver company expectations by giving direction and instruction where necessary.
* Evaluate and implement new processes and procedures at store level.
* Become a key contact for pharmacy managers to ensure smooth and efficient operation.
* Monitor and control operational costs effectively.
* Identify and recruit top talent for stores or support Franchisees in hiring.
* Invest time in coaching and mentoring pharmacy managers to unlock their full potential.
* Ensure timely completion and accuracy of weekly KPIs template.
* Celebrate and address exceptional performance accordingly.
* Create detailed action plans covering all KPIs for each store.
* Analyze revenue drivers and explore ways to improve them with end-to-end solutions.
* Implement improvements across all pharmacies according to company policy.
* Maintain compliance with preferred supplier lists to maximize profit margins.
Operational Standards:
* Merchandising and pricing strategies.
* Staff appearance and presentation.
* Window displays and exterior visual appeal.
* Category Management planning.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
* A minimum of 5 years of management experience within the pharmacy or wider retail market.
* Proven people management and influencing skills.
* A track record of sales growth and business development.
* High achievement drive, determination, and resilience.
* Able to drive business profitability through effective controls.
* Excellent communication, planning, organizational, and analytical skills.
* Organized, flexible, motivated, and a hard-working leader.
* Retail business degree or equivalent qualification.
* Full driving license.
