Responsibilities:
* MICE Sales Strategy: Assist in developing and implementing the annual MICE sales plan for the hotel.
* Account Management: Manage a portfolio of local and national accounts in the MICE market, identifying opportunities for growth and development.
* New Business Development: Solicit new business from corporates, charities, associations, institutions, and national conferences, meetings, events, and award ceremonies.
* Corporate Groups: Identify and develop new business opportunities in the corporate groups segment targeting domestic clients.
* Team Collaboration: Participate in customer visits, site inspections, and large-scale events, supporting the hotel Sales teams to deliver exceptional results.
* Contact Negotiation: Oversee contract negotiations, ensuring all event details meet client expectations and hotel standards.
* Sales Forecasting: Create sales forecasts and work towards reaching targets in line with hotel goals.
* Training and Guidance: Support the Sales team, providing guidance and training to achieve departmental objectives.
* Market Analysis: Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
* Revenue Optimization: Work closely with the Revenue Management team to optimize room occupancy and average daily rates.
* Sales Performance Analysis: Analyze sales performance and provide insights into revenue forecasting and budget planning.
* CRM Utilization: Utilize CRM systems to maintain accurate records of sales activities and client information.
* Brand Representation: Represent the brand at networking and industry events, building strong connections with potential clients.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in high-paced sales environments, ideally within hospitality.
* At least 2 years proactive hotel sales experience, hotel proactive MICE Sales experience preferred.
* Highly motivated, energetic, and ready to go the extra mile.
* A strong track record of driving revenue and achieving targets.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to meet deadlines.
* Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
* Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and business priorities.
