Health & Safety Positions (Junior to Director Level Various Locations Across Europe) Company Overview: We are recruiting for multiple Health & Safety roles at all levels (Junior, Mid, Senior, and Director) on behalf of leading contractor companies operating in Ireland and across Europe.
These companies are renowned for delivering large-scale projects, particularly in the data centre, infrastructure, and commercial construction sectors.
Key Responsibilities (Varied by Role Level): Depending on experience and seniority, responsibilities may include: Developing, implementing, and overseeing Health & Safety (H&S) policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment across all project sites.
Monitoring and ensuring compliance with local and international H&S legislation, regulations, and company standards.
Conducting site inspections, audits, and risk assessments, identifying hazards, and implementing corrective actions.
Leading the preparation and review of project-specific safety plans, method statements, and risk assessments.
Providing training, guidance, and mentorship to project teams, subcontractors, and junior H&S professionals to promote a strong safety culture.
Investigating incidents, accidents, and near misses, preparing detailed reports, and recommending preventative measures.
Collaborating closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure H&S objectives are met at every project stage.
Preparing and presenting H&S performance reports, including trends, compliance updates, and key findings to senior management and stakeholders.
Requirements: Experience levels range from entry-level/junior roles to senior leadership positions.
Relevant H&S qualification (e.g., NEBOSH Diploma, IOSH Certification, or equivalent).
Experience working on data centre projects is highly desirable, but not essential.
Strong knowledge of H&S legislation and standards across European project locations.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to prepare risk assessments, safety plans, and incident reports.
Willingness to travel or work on-site across European project locations as required.
