Valuation Analyst

About the Role
At CSC, we provide regulatory-compliant solutions to both EU and non-EU investment managers as an authorised Alternative Investment Fund Manager (AIFM). Licensed by the Central Bank of Ireland (CBI), our AIFM services ensure full compliance with the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (AIFMD), offering substance, infrastructure, regulatory oversight, and reporting solutions.
Our Capital and Financial Management team is responsible for:
* Overseeing financial control and expenses of Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs).
* Valuing AIF assets and reviewing NAVs.
* Monitoring regulatory capital and reporting to key committees and boards.
* Supporting audits and issuing invoices to clients.
This is an opportunity to join a growing AIFM business, contribute to its expansion, and work closely with internal and external stakeholders on capital and financial management strategies.
Key Responsibilities
As a Valuation Analyst, your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
* Conducting portfolio analysis and direct monitoring of AIFs under management.
* Supporting the Designated Person (DP) for Capital & Financial Management with issue resolution.
* Assisting in financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting for the AIFM.
* Managing invoicing processes and updating valuation policies.
* Preparing reports for key committees (Capital & Finance, Valuation, AIFM Board).
* Conducting due diligence on prospective clients and reviewing offering memorandums.
* Monitoring regulatory capital and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
* Reviewing AIF financial statements in line with relevant accounting standards.
* Overseeing due diligence on third-party valuation agents.
* Supporting NAV review processes and ad-hoc projects within the AIFM team.
Your profile
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* 1-3 years’ experience in a Fund Management Company, Investment or Asset Management, or Fund Services (Administration, Depositary).
* A degree in any discipline (Business, Finance, Science, Engineering, Arts & Humanities).
* Experience with AIFMD regulations (UCITS knowledge is a plus).
* Familiarity with alternative investments and fund structures.
* Strong understanding of audit, valuation, and financial management processes.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
* Excellent attention to detail, communication, and organisational skills.
* The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and meeting deadlines.
