Business Development Manager - Musgrave Marketplace (East Coast)

Role Purpose:
To develop a defined territory as outlined by the General Manager, with total responsibility for sales, debt, margin, and profit.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver and exceed agreed territory sales, profit, and margin targets across the (Marketplace) Foodservice and Retail business.
* Develop the territory by managing a prospect list to secure new customers.
* Drive growth through expanding the range that is currently being supplied to existing accounts.
* Maintain all your accounts within Musgrave MarketPlace agreed credit terms.
* Manage all customer contracts, including pricing and range, to maximize profitability.
* Ensure excellent customer service through friendly, accurate field communication and good administration practices.
* Provide relevant information on competitor activity and other trade field information to the General Manager & business.
* Ensure the correct product mix in each account to maximize profitability.
* Cooperate fully with the Territory Telesales Developer, Regional General Managers, and Regional Foodservice Floor Managers to ensure maximum growth in your specific territory.
Administrative Tasks:
* Complete Journey plans, Daily Sales Reports, Record Cards, and Prospect lists as required.
Requirements:
* Understanding of the foodservice and retail customer.
* Experience/knowledge in food industry or direct foodservice sales.
* Proven track record in proactive field sales and achieved targets.
* Professional selling skills.
* Administration skills, planning, and time management skills.
* Forward-thinking with the ability to work independently.
* Ability to change, adapt, and be flexible.
* Leaving Cert / GCSE qualification.
* Full clean driving licence.
