For one of our clients, we are looking for a Head of Risk & Compliance (AI, Security, Privacy), remotely from Ireland.
As the Head of Risk & Compliance, you will be responsible for developing and overseeing the frameworks for risk management, security, and compliance across AI-driven solutions. In this leadership role, you will ensure that the company's solutions meet rigorous security, privacy, and regulatory standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, work with regulatory bodies, and keep up to date with evolving regulations to ensure proactive compliance, all while managing risk across AI model deployment, data security, and third-party integrations.
Accountabilities:
* Develop and implement a comprehensive risk and compliance strategy focusing on AI, security, and privacy.
* Establish governance frameworks to ensure adherence to global regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and ISO 27001.
* Lead compliance audits, certifications, and regulatory initiatives to ensure industry standard adherence.
* Collaborate with engineering, product, and legal teams to integrate privacy-by-design and security best practices into AI development.
* Monitor evolving regulations and cybersecurity threats, ensuring proactive compliance management and risk mitigation.
Requirements:
* 5+ years of experience in risk management, security, or compliance, with at least 3 years specializing in AI governance, privacy, or cybersecurity.
* Demonstrated experience working directly with clients on security and compliance queries and technical support.
* Strong understanding of AI risks, privacy frameworks, and cybersecurity threats.
* Experience managing audits and certifications (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, NIST).
* Technical expertise in cloud security, encryption, and AI model risk assessment.
* Excellent leadership skills and the ability to influence stakeholders across functions.
* Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CIPP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor) are a plus.
