About the role
An exciting opportunity has opened asOperational Resilience Senior Risk Associate.In the role, the successful candidate will;
* Support the OROL in the application of the operational resilience and DORA frameworks and strategies to ensure regulatory compliance, including performing key processes and controls.
* Contribute to the day-to-day operations of Operational Resilience and DORA, including documenting business and ICT dependency mapping and reporting, performing dependency risk assessments, preparation of key documentation for the Davy Resilience Committee and first line support across overall resilience incident reporting.
* Support in business continuity preparation activities, including business impact analyses, continuity plans, business and ICT scenario testing and reporting.
* Support in firmwide resilience incident and crisis planning, including documenting and testing of business and ICT recovery strategies.
* Maintain reporting of KPIs and KRIs on a regular basis to evaluate operational resilience performance.
* Assist in managing resilience artefacts in line with regulatory requirements and with a mindset of continuous improvement. Work with stakeholders in the firm to ensure data quality is continuously enhanced.
* Support the OROL in the production of regular upstream reports for various governance fora.
* Shape and execute governance procedures that meet the ever-evolving regulatory landscape.
* Engage in regulatory monitoring and analysis.
* Support process improvement and business transformation initiatives and projects, for a lean but effective risk and control framework for operational resilience.
* Provision of resilience related training for key stakeholders within Davy.
* Support the FLOD Operations team with both regular and ad-hoc tasks.
Key Relationships
This role provides operational resilience expertise, oversight and support to all business units within J&E Davy. A strong collaborative and detail-orientated approach to work is vital to succeed in this role.
About you
We are looking for somebody who has the following background and skills:
* Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a regulated and compliance-driven environment.
* Basic understanding of Central Bank of Ireland Guidelines on Operational Resilience and the European Union’s Digital Operational Resilience Act.
* General awareness about risks emerging from technology, people, third-party and financial risk, mitigating framework and implications of such risks.
* Strong educational, financial services and regulatory background.
* Basic skills in data analytics and supporting tooling.
* Strong MS office skills (e.g., Excel, PPT, Forms).
* Strong focus on completing tasks to adhere to deadlines.
* Strong analytical skills and ability to piece together key data.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* High levels of personal initiative and proven ability to work independently.
* Well organised and self-motivated.
* Demonstrably structured, solution-focused, practical, and collaborative approach to work.
* Excellent team worker with ability to build successful and productive relationships.
* Experience with change management programmes and/or projects.
* Proven commitment to professional development.
