Responsibilities:
* Perform hands-on tasks including Panel Build Assembly, Electrical Wiring, and pneumatic plumbing for custom automated machines.
* Prepare and install all necessary cabling for Power, Control & Safety.
* Assist with key project milestones such as power up, IO Checks, Safety Resetting, and Safety checks.
* Aid in machine fault-finding and troubleshooting.
* Undertake machine building and mechanical assembly duties.
* Interpret technical assembly drawings and equipment manuals.
* Conduct dismantling, repair/rework, and fitting of new parts during maintenance activities.
* Installation of production equipment.
* Commission machines/equipment at customer sites from time to time (Ireland and abroad).
* Collaborate closely and communicate effectively with the project team.
* Ensure the relevant wiring standards are being adhered to.
Requirements:
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
* Good team player capable of working collaboratively or independently.
* Fluent in English with proficient reading and writing skills.
* Good attention to detail and a quick learner of new techniques, systems, and technologies.
* Previous experience in a toolroom environment is advantageous but not essential.
* Strong aptitude and interest in engineering.
