We’re looking for a Depot Engineer - Power based out of Portlaoise depot .
This role will support both the North and South of Ireland.

What you’ll do:
5. Installation of power products on customer site
6. Installation of TC products on customer site
7. Commission and decommissioning of power products on customer site
8. Commission of TC products on customer site
9. Fit data loggers & power analysers
10. Attend equipment breakdowns
Electrical
11. Deliver generator applications - Motor starting and variable voltage
12. Carry out load testing using sigma PC software
13. Deliver no break sync applications - grid lock
14. Telemetry installation in field
15. Basic electrical fault finding < 1500v dc and <1000v ac
16. Be able to operate fleet load bank
17. Low voltage switching, maintenance, isolation, commissioning
18. Deliver TC/MC applications
19. Carry out F Gas checks
The duties described above cover the focus of the role, however from time to time you may be required to carry out any other duties which are reasonable and within your abilities to support other areas of the business.
You’ll have the following skills and experience:
20. Technical capability (power and ideally temperature control)
21. A City and Guilds/ONC level 3 qualification or equivalent (Mechanical and or Electrical)
22. Good organisational & communication skills
23. Good level of PC literacy including basic MS Office applications
24. Well organised and capable of keeping vehicle to GSCS standards
25. Able to manage a client’s expectations when under pressure, regardless of the situation
26. Must hold a full, clean and valid driving licence
27. Must be able to work out of hours as and when required, and be part of the on-call rota
