Accountant Role in Renewable Energy Sector
We are seeking a commercially focused accountant to join our client, an innovative and thriving organisation operating in the Renewable Energy sector. In this expansion phase, they require an accountant to play a key role in the continued development of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare month-end management accounts, financial analysis, and reporting.
* Develop short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts and manage financial forecasting methods.
* Analyse and review project budgets with department managers to ensure they remain on track and within forecasted figures.
* Perform variance analysis, identifying discrepancies between actuals versus budgets, and prepare detailed variance reports for management.
Additional Tasks:
* Support the group finance function ensuring compliance with local regulations and alignment with company standards.
* Perform detailed analysis of capital contributions, documenting and reporting on results to management.
* Ensure accurate maintenance and reporting of relevant documentation for audit and financial reporting purposes.
* Identify potential financial risks related to cash flow, project costs, or other operational aspects, proposing risk mitigation strategies.
Candidate Requirements
Newly Qualified Accountant with Experience
We are looking for a Newly Qualified Accountant with minimum 5 years industry experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in conducting variance analysis, proficiency in multiple accounting software systems, including MS Office package.

* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Fluency in English.
* Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, excellent attention to detail, and a team player with a proactive mindset.
