My Client is a globally recognized leader in piping systems. With international certifications, they specialize in the design, production, installation, servicing, and commissioning of various Mechanical systems.
This role reports to the General Manager and serves as the primary contact for Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) matters within My Client.
The successful candidate will oversee EHS initiatives, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements while driving continuous improvements in safety performance
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain health, safety, and well-being policies and procedures.
Lead, mentor, and support team members in all EHS matters.
Collaborate with management to ensure full compliance with legal and customer safety requirements.
Organize and conduct internal audits and inspections to uphold safety standards.
Attend site safety meetings and perform on-site safety assessments.
Oversee EHS initiatives and promote continuous safety improvements across all locations.
Monitor and analyze safety incidents, implementing corrective actions to mitigate risks.
Manage compliance training programs, ensuring staff receive necessary instruction and development opportunities.
Key Skills:
Minimum 1 year in an EHS leadership role.
At least 3 years of experience managing multiple construction sites.
Relevant professional certifications (NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent).A valid and clean Irish driving license.
In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
Capable of handling multiple priorities effectively.
Adaptable and proactive approach to work.
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field.
Certification in Mental Health First Aid.
Trainer qualification in Manual Handling or a similar discipline.
