Key responsibilities:
* Ensure smooth daily operations in the kitchen
* Training and supervision of the kitchen team, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and service delivery are met
* Menu planning and development
* Maintain positive, close relations with suppliers and vendors
* Ensure proper stock management and control
* Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring adherence to all relevant legislation (HACCP, Hygiene, H&S, Fire etc)
The ideal candidate:
* Minimum of five years’ experience as Sous Chef with a steady background in quality dining establishments
* Highly organised kitchen manager
* Positive team leader able to motivate and inspire the team
* Innovative menu creation ability
* Proven track record in effectively managing budgets and costs
* Keen follower of culinary and health trends
