Mellany McLoone is Chief Officer for CHO DNCC and has full responsibility and accountability for the delivery of all Community Healthcare services in the area. Community Healthcare Services are the broad range of services that are delivered outside of the acute hospital setting.
Description
To work in conjunction with other team members and other service providers in co-ordinating and developing the service to meet the needs of the service user group and the objectives of the organisation. The Senior Occupational Therapist – Mental Health will be responsible for the provision of a high quality Occupational Therapy Service.
The Senior Occupational Therapist – Mental Health will develop and maintain high standards of clinical practice within this area through clinical evaluation, audit and research opportunities.
The Senior Occupational Therapist – Mental Health will engage actively in clinical and educational duties as required and will evaluate the above described service.
The Senior Occupational Therapist will engage in in-service education and training for Occupational Therapy staff, MDT colleagues and undergraduate students where appropriate.
