Graduate Process Improvement/Project Manager
This role is central to our client's growth strategy for the next 5 years and will focus on ensuring that they have the right operational excellence systems in place to support the planned expansion.
The successful graduate will lead this project, in a supportive partnership with Ulster University (UU) as part of the InterTrade Ireland Innovation Boost Programme and will also have the opportunity to avail of a Post Graduate Diploma with Queen’s University Belfast as part of the employment offering.
The Graduate Process Improvement Project Manager will be responsible for:
* Designing, developing, and implementing an integrated end to end operational excellence system and processes on time and on budget
* Improving workflow efficiency, implementing digitalisation, and developing best in class data analytics
* Preparation of all associated documentation.
* Training staff so that the new system is fully transferred and embedded in the company’s operations.
Requirements
* Minimum 2:2 Degree in Business and Information Technology, Operations or Quality Management, Mechanical Engineering, Management Information Systems, Project Management, Computer Science, or related area.
* Practical experience and/or certification of business improvement techniques.
* Must be legally entitled to work in Ireland/EU;
* Experience in Project and Change Management.
* Experience/qualification in data analytics, AI, Industry 4.0, and practical experience of developing and implementing visualization tools.
* Practical Experience with Systems design, training and implementation.
* Understanding of MIS, such as Enterprise Resource Planning and supply chain planning and scheduling systems.
* Working knowledge of SAGE 50 Accounting systems.
* Experience of the textile manufacturing and/or printing/embroidery industry.
