About the Job

The laboratory manager will oversee a team of technicians and be accountable for designing, setting up, and conducting performance and functional testing on critical cooling equipment manufactured for data centers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Daily supervision of laboratory operations and personnel.
* Maintenance of lab equipment, including chillers, boilers, generators, electrical systems, and control systems.
* Scheduling of test lab activities based on project deadlines, customer requirements, and resource availability.
* Design and construction of tests for HVAC equipment, including installation of new test equipment as needed.
* Testing of HVAC equipment, including chilled water systems, refrigeration systems, fans, and electrical systems.
* Preparation of detailed and accurate reports on testing and provision of constructive feedback to other engineering departments.
* Maintenance of laboratory equipment contacts.
* Collaboration with the Quality Manager to ensure calibration of all laboratory instruments meets testing requirements.
