We are looking to recruit a Planning & Environmental Consultant to work on large scale and strategic developments for our multinational clients in Ireland and Europe.
Responsibilities:
* Involvement in the preparation and management of development consents, compliance and planning strategy for large scale projects
* Participation in design process for layout, master planning and input or coordination of Environmental Impact Assessment Reports (EIAR)
* Management of the interaction with multi-disciplinary project teams, clients and stakeholders
* Liaising with County Councils, An Bord Pleanala and other statutory bodies as required
* Experience with engagement with environmental permitting including EPA Licence application process and/or the waste facility licencing process would be beneficial

Qualifications:
* A minimum qualification Level 8 or Level 9 NEQ qualification (or equivalent) in Planning & Sustainable Development or related Environmental Science/Engineering discipline
* Chartered planner (IPI, RTPI or equivalent) or working towards chartership
* Relevant experience in the area of planning and environmental management / consultancy
* Knowledge of Irish planning and environmental legislation, policy and practice
* Project Management skills with attentiveness to critical dates and adherence to deadlines
* Clear and confident verbal & written communication skills
* Excellent knowledge of report preparation (MS Word) and use of MS Excel
* Proven track record of working on your own initiative
