Key responsibilities Food preparation:
Assist with preparing, cooking, and serving food on Lunch Service.
This may include measuring ingredients, plating basic dishes, and operating kitchen equipment.
Kitchen organization:
Keep the kitchen organized and tidy, and ensure produce matches orders.
Cleaning and maintenance:
Clean stations, wash and dry equipment, and dispose of expired food.
Learning and development:
Learn about kitchen responsibilities, develop new skills, and improve culinary knowledge.
Other duties:
Assist chefs de partie and other senior chefs, and follow company policies.
Assist where needs with Front of House Team.
Health and safety:
Ensure food is handled and prepared safely, and comply with health and hygiene regulations .
Communication:
Interact with other chefs, wait staff, and supervisors and key communciation with customers during busy service periods.
