Junior Site Manager / Assistant Site Manager Location: South Dublin Salary: €45,000 - €57,500 per annum About the Role: We are currently seeking a motivated Junior Site Manager or Assistant Site Manager to join a team overseeing a 50-unit traditional build housing project in South Dublin. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in construction management. The Junior Site Manager will work closely with the Site Manager and project team, assisting in the day-to-day management of the site and ensuring the smooth execution of the project. Key Responsibilities: Assist the Site Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring the project runs smoothly and safely. Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, tradesmen, and suppliers to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of work. Assist with the preparation and maintenance of the site schedule, ensuring deadlines and project milestones are met. Ensure health, safety, and environmental regulations are adhered to, helping to maintain a safe and compliant work environment. Help with quality control, carrying out regular inspections to ensure work meets required standards. Keep accurate records of daily site activities, including progress reports, site diaries, and health and safety logs. Provide support with managing site logistics, ensuring materials and resources are available when needed. Communicate effectively with the Site Manager, contractors, and other site personnel to ensure project objectives are being met. Assist in resolving site issues and challenges, ensuring minimal disruption to the project timeline. Contribute to maintaining a positive and efficient work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development. Key Requirements: Previous experience in a construction site-based role, ideally within residential projects. Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a team. Basic understanding of construction processes, site management, and safety regulations. A proactive attitude with a strong willingness to learn and develop in the role. Some knowledge of quality control, project scheduling, and site logistics is beneficial.
