Experienced Project Manager - Client Side - Construction / Property Sector
Our client is seeking a seasoned project manager to oversee a portfolio of construction projects set to commence in the coming year. These projects are primarily in the early inception stages (pre-planning), with a few already underway on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
* Stakeholder Management: Engage with and balance the interests of various stakeholders.
* Design Team Oversight: Lead and coordinate the design team to ensure alignment with project goals.
* Contractor Management: Oversee the appointment and supervision of main contractors.
* Change Management: Handle and document changes or variations in the project scope.
* Progress Reporting: Provide regular updates on project progress and budgets to head office and stakeholders.
* Financial Reporting: Manage and report on project finances and budgets to ensure fiscal responsibility.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Education: Bachelor's degree in a construction-related discipline.
* Experience: A minimum of 7-8 years of post-graduate experience, with at least 4 years in a project management role within the construction industry.
* Licensing: Full, clean driving license and access to a personal vehicle required, as the role involves managing projects across multiple sites.
