Key Responsibilities
* Client relationship management, appreciation for the balance between client relationship and working capital management
* Proven ability in planning, producing and delivering compliant proposal documents within a complex business environment

* Maintaining credit control system
* Contact debtors to secure payments
* Review aged debtors reports and sending out monthly debtors statements
* Prepare weekly and monthly management reports
* Cash allocation
* Bank and accounts reconciliation
* Manage cash received and processing cash receipts information
* To manage any invoice disputes through direct communication with clients, remove bottlenecks by working with client and internal staff to resolve non-payment issues.
* New account set up ensuring no account is opened without full details and contracts in place.
* Proactive approach in dealing with problem accounts.
* Preparation of reports as required by the company.
Key Requirements
* 1 - 2 years’ previous experience in a hands-on credit control position and proven experience in a Financial Administrator role.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Pro-active approach to work.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Ability to build effective working relationships with both customers and colleagues.
* Self-motivated.
* Planning, organising and prioritising skills
* Deadline focussed with ability to set and meet KPI cash collection and debtors days’ targets.
* Ability to recognise potential credit risks that need to be actioned.
* Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
* Computer literate – MS Office, especially Excel.
* Good Management Communication.

Preferable Requirements (not essential)
* Currently studying or planning to study AAT (desirable but not essential).
* Experience with producing reports and statements.
* Experience with Accounting software – preferably SAP.
