Job Responsibilities:
1. Manage operations and personnel, including organizing and prioritizing daily tasks, performing training and performance reviews to accomplish company objectives, in accordance with the budget and timelines.
2. Manage complex processes across functions and interact effectively with other team members to ensure product labeling meets regulatory requirements.
3. Implement and assist with the development of Supply Chain policies, procedures, techniques, standards, and systems.
4. Direct activities within the Planning and Warehousing functions to meet company goals, including adherence to the site production schedule, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
5. Prepare project plans and manage projects to successful and timely completion. Provide expertise to the team and functional areas to anticipate, identify, and resolve complex project issues which pose a challenge to achieving strategic goals.
6. Ensure the creation and maintenance of documentation to reflect the effectiveness and efficiency of department activities.
7. Support the Continuous Improvement process by aggressively seeking ways to improve Supply Chain processes and performance.
8. Collaborate with the Purchasing group to meet required inventory levels for all direct materials and timely resolution of any quality-related records for external suppliers.
9. Work across organizational, cultural, and geographic boundaries to optimize company strategic results within the supply chain function.
10. Manage the introduction and integration of new technologies and processes as needed & support and develop inventory levels for direct materials.
11. Manage NPI activity for the GSIUC site, for EU and ROW markets, coordinating all site activity required to ensure that a product is launched as per the commercial and regulatory market timelines.
12. Work with Quality Assurance to resolve quality-related issues with product review and release to meet customer needs.
13. Analyze complex issues requiring in-depth assessment and proactive management of quality risks.
14. Manage master data requirements, coordinating and prioritizing requests to ensure timely response and action.
Knowledge & Skills:
1. Good planning and organizational skills coupled with strong communication and time management skills.
2. Aptitude for working with computer systems to plan and manage supply chain requirements.
3. In-depth understanding and application of principles, concepts, practices, and standards in the industry.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
5. Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capability.
6. Ability to develop solutions to a wide range of moderately complex problems requiring ingenuity and innovation.
7. Ability to direct and implement electronic solutions for supporting Planning operations and Warehousing systems.
Education & Experience:
The preferred candidate will have extensive experience in a related field and a BS or BA; experience in pharmaceutical operations/cGMP environment is highly desirable.
