Responsibilities: Manage renewable energy assets to maximise plant availability and efficiency, supporting green initiatives aligned with company strategy.
Lead the maintenance of power plants and support systems, ensuring alignment with operations teams and achievement of targets in a safe, cost-effective, and environmentally compliant manner.
Oversee spare part management, purchasing, and contracts to meet operational needs and budget.
Lead outage planning and ensure timely, safe execution of maintenance activities.
Implement the Business Management System, coordinating with teams like Trading, Biomass Supply, Regulatory Authorities, and Accreditation Bodies.
Develop resource and succession plans for the maintenance team, ensuring continuous development.
Foster team development through communication and teamwork to meet ambitious renewable energy targets.
Support ongoing skills development to adapt to co-fuelling, regulatory changes, and business growth.
Mentor the maintenance team to achieve goals for renewable assets.
Ensure strong health and safety culture, adhering to safe working systems for all employees and contractors.
Lead direct reports, participating in performance management to ensure objectives are met.
Requirements: BSc in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
5+ years' experience in a relevant field, including large-scale thermal power plant or heavy industrial maintenance.
Experience at a middle management level, with proven ability to lead, motivate, and direct teams effectively.
Experience in power plant operations is desirable.
Excellent people management and leadership skills.
