Key Responsibilities:
* Patient Interaction: Greet patients warmly upon arrival, assist with check-ins, and provide necessary information about services.
* Appointment Scheduling: Manage patient appointments efficiently, including scheduling, rescheduling, and confirming appointments.
* Telephone Support: Answer incoming calls, provide information, take messages, and direct calls to appropriate team members.
* Administrative Duties: Maintain patient records and update personal details accurately in the system.
* Insurance and Billing Support: Assist with processing patient insurance claims, check coverage, and answer billing inquiries.
Office Organisation:
* Ensure reception area is tidy and welcoming, keep patient waiting area stocked with relevant materials, and maintain inventory of office supplies.
Collaboration:
* Work closely with the dentist, dental hygienists, and assistants to coordinate patient care and ensure smooth office operations.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a receptionist or administrative role, ideally within a medical or dental practice.
