Key Responsibilities and Deliverables
* To follow the Catering Hygiene Policy guidelines along with Aramark's dress code policy in maintaining a clean uniform and hygienic appearance at all times.
* Co - operate fully and participate with / in all Health and safety training programmes.
* Follow all health and safety regulations.
* Comply with and adhere to all Aramark and Hospital policies and procedures.
* Responsible for all basic cleaning in the building. Dusting from top to bottom all areas in the building.
* Checking, cleaning and empties all bins in all areas and replaces liners.
* Clean floors including dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, picking up larger objects from floor, and spot cleaning glass and windows.
* Monitors and maintains sanitation of assigned areas.
* Transport dirty cloths to correct area to be cleaned and restocks area with clean cloths.
* Clean restrooms including restocking dispensers, emptying trash, cleaning and sanitising fixtures, cleaning mirrors, spot cleaning doors and walls / tiles, sweeping and mopping floors and cleaning toilets and urinals.
* Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs.
* Stock and maintain supply rooms, responsible for receiving and checking deliveries.
* Co - operate with the rest of the staff.
* Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery.
* Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies. Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets.
* Report any accident or injuries to the Manager on duty immediately.
* Performs additional duties as needed.
