Payroll / Accounts Administrator Baldonnell - Permanent Role can be full time or part time.
Part Time will be three full days.
Salary: €40,000 Hybrid option after probation.
There is an option for this role to be full time or part time.
For full time hours, the role will focus on Payroll for 2.5 days and then Accounts Payable for 2.5 days.
For part time hours the role will focus mainly on Payroll for 3 days.
The client will look at hybrid after the six months probation.
Experience using Sage Micropay would be a distinct advantage Key Responsibilities: End-to-end processing of 3 Payrolls (Weekly x1, Monthly x2) for c.450 employees, including Download of weekly timesheets and import of hours into Payroll system Setting up New Employees and processing Leavers Download of RPNs from ROS Accurate update of employee records and permanent payments/deductions Process all Payroll deductions, including Pensions, Maternity Pay, Illness Benefit etc.
Manual adjustments/calculations of payments/deductions for data entry into Payroll system Checks to ensure accuracy and integrity of data before payslips are emailed to employees Upload of Payroll data and ERR to Revenue via ROS Creation and upload of bank file to on-line portal Creation of required Payroll reports and reconciliations including P30 return Agreeing Statement of account on ROS and setting up payments for same Keep accurate and up to date data for wider use (e.g.
Death in Service, Pension, Gender Pay, etc.)
Completion of Files for Pensions Returns on a Monthly Basis Completion of any statutory forms/letters as required (e.g.
social protection, mortgage application, etc.)
Respond efficiently and professionally to any employee queries, or management requests for analyses.
Maintain effective controls and procedures to ensure that the Company is in full compliance of all legal, statutory and Revenue requirements, as well as Data Protection regulations.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records to ensure highest level of confidentiality and auditability Assist with Time and Attendance administration when required Liaise with finance team to ensure timely and accurate monthly payroll reconciliation Improve payroll processes to increase accuracy and reduce processing times Any other ad hoc tasks and / or projects as appropriate.
Key Skills: Minimum of 3 years experience in a payroll administrator role, payroll related qualification desirable Robust working knowledge of employment tax regulations and compliance Excellent administrative, organisational and numeric skills, including competency in Payroll systems (SAGE MicroPay Pro) and MS Excel (high proficiency) Ability to work on your own initiative, prioritise tasks while simultaneously, meet tight deadlines.
Strong attention to detail Time and Attendance system experience an advantage (Snow Technology UKG Pro) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
