You will support the operation and its leadership team to achieve best practice Safety performance. The successful applicant will work and lead in a way that supports Boliden Tara’s core values of Care, Courage & Responsibility.Your Job – your tasks will include but not limited to:Coordinate the occupational hygiene program for the operation.Develop long terms monitoring program based on business and regulatory requirements.Conduct occupational monitoring through the operations as per program.Compile detailed formal reports following occupational monitoringSupport operational teams with Regulatory training and awareness programs related to occupational hygiene and general safety topics.Develop and deliver presentation to the workforce on safety related subjects.Investigation, follow-up and reporting of safety incidents to the Statutory Authorities.Timely reporting of Monthly, Quarterly and Annual data to Boliden Group and Statutory Authorities.Lead and participate in audits conducted by Health and Safety Authority, external 3rd Party and Boliden Group.There may be a requirement for this position to be available outside of normal working hours.Your profile – your characteristics, knowledge, skills:Work effectively as a Safety practitioner, building strong relationships across the organisation, operating in a flexible and collaborative manner.Logical Ability – You have the ability to work with complex safety issues in a competent and confident way.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Strong analytical ability, with a logical approach to problem solving and sound judgement.Proactive, with a ‘can-do’ approach and the ability to organise and prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.Honest & Ethical & confidential – Valuing integrity and honesty as a core personal value.Experience & Qualifications:A minimum of 5 years in a similar role.Experience of working in a highly regulated industry.
