Job Description
As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our project development and implementation process. You will manage and work closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers to deliver support to the construction team throughout the Construction and Commissioning Phases. Your responsibilities will include overseeing technical assessments, preparing reports, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring project milestones are achieved.
Your Responsibilities will include:
1. Reporting to the Project Manager on project progress, risks, and issues.
2. Analysing supplier information for alignment with design specifications.
3. Reviewing and understanding schematics, GA plans, and project specifications.
4. Conducting design reviews, validating equipment and systems.
5. Completing technical submittals, RFIs, equipment registers, and trackers.
6. Analysing all design documentation and identifying any scope gaps.
7. Reviewing quality on site – walking down systems to ensure compliance with the project team.
This role will provide exposure to a wide range of expertise relating to the electrical engineering and construction sector. The successful candidate will be supported in developing their knowledge on a pathway to becoming a Chartered Engineer as their knowledge and responsibilities grow and evolve.
Skills and Requirements
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:
1. Relevant 3rd Level Electrical Qualification essential.
2. Electrical trade background would be advantageous.
3. Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role is essential.
4. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office required.
5. Experience in Revit would be advantageous.
6. Excellent organisational and planning skills.
7. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
