About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to assist our Financial Controller in all aspects of finance.
This is a full-time, hands-on role with opportunities for career development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure timely delivery of management accounts and financial reporting, including Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
* Prepare Annual Budget and rolling forecasts.
* Prepare annual syndicate accounts.
* Cash Management: monthly cash flow forecasts and banking relationships.
* Bi-monthly VAT return preparation and submission.
* Revenue returns completion and updating.
* Annual statutory account preparation.
* Liaise with auditors and prepare audit schedules.
* Manage audit queries.
* Main point of contact for Internal Auditors.
Other Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with department managers on cost management and control.
* Work with Credit Controller to improve processes and collections.
* Coordinate with Procurement department and Payables to ensure compliance and participation in evaluation panels.
* Manage Exchequer accounting system.
* Distribute board reports.
* Prepare ad-hoc finance data and reports as directed.
Requirements:
* Qualified accountant with 3+ years of PQE experience.
* Play a critical role in a small, committed finance team.
* Self-motivation and ability to work independently with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
