We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Compliance Analyst, focussing on Pay Equity & Pay Transparency Legislation to join our team. This role will involve analyzing local pay equity and pay transparency legislation across various regions to inform the development of software solutions that help organizations comply with these requirements. The ideal candidate will not only contribute to the design and implementation of features within our software but will also create engaging and informative learning content to help companies use our software effectively for their reporting needs.
What will you be doing?
Legislative Analysis:
Research, analyze, and stay up to date with local pay equity and pay transparency regulations and policies.
Identify and document key compliance requirements and deadlines for various regions.
Collaborate with legal, compliance, and product teams to ensure accurate and timely incorporation of legislative changes into the software.
Design Document Creation:
Translate regulatory requirements into detailed, actionable design documents that outline the features and functionality needed within the software.
Work closely with software development teams to ensure accurate implementation of these features and support regulatory compliance.
Define business and technical requirements for the software solutions and ensure they align with relevant legislation.
Learning Content Development:
Create comprehensive training materials, guides, and tutorials to help clients navigate the software and fulfill local pay equity and transparency reporting requirements.
Develop online training modules, webinars, and documentation to ensure that clients can efficiently utilize the software to meet their compliance obligations.
Continuously update and improve learning content (internal and external) based on customer feedback, regulatory changes, and product enhancements.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
Serve as a subject matter expert on pay equity and pay transparency regulations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, legal, HR, and customer support) to gather feedback and improve the software’s capabilities.
Participate in regular meetings with product management, client services, legal, and HR teams to align on compliance goals and product roadmap.
Customer Support & Feedback:
Assist customers with specific regulatory questions related to pay equity and transparency reporting.
Collect feedback from users to ensure that the software and learning content meet the needs of companies striving for compliance.
Provide expert guidance to clients, delivering professional services that maximize their use of the software to achieve their pay equity compliance goals.
What are we looking for?
Prior experience in pay equity, HR and compensation / benefits would be an advantage. Other relevant experience, such as consulting can also be valuable in this role.
Degree in Business, Law, HR, or a related field.
Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to distill complex regulatory content into clear, actionable insights.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to design and create engaging learning content for different audiences.
Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience with compliance-related software solutions or HRIS systems is an advantage.
Desirable (but not essential) skills:
Experience in regulatory compliance or a similar role focused on pay equity or transparency.
Familiarity with software development processes is a plus.
Familiarity with instructional design, e-learning tools, or content management systems.
