Job Title: Deli Manager
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Deli Manager to oversee the daily operations of our supermarket's deli department in Co. Cork.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 2 years of experience in managing a fresh food deli
* Proven track record in ordering, managing waste, and maintaining HACCP and food safety standards
* Self-motivated individual with a passion for delivering exceptional food service
* Experience in managing a team of 10 or more staff members
Main Duties:
* Manage employee activities to drive sales performance and improve customer satisfaction
* Oversee product storage, rotation, and inventory management
* Assist in preparing sales budgets and controlling staff costs
* Develop and manage rosters to ensure optimal staffing levels
* Participate in interviewing, hiring, and training new staff members
* Respond promptly to customer queries and complaints
* Maintain facilities in a clean, safe, and well-maintained state
Additional Responsibilities:
Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring all products are properly labelled and meet quality standards.

Salary: €50,000 - €60,000 per annum, depending on experience
