Duty Manager
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Duty Manager to join our team at Tallaght Cross Hotel.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel, providing excellent customer service, and leading a team of staff.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work closely with the Senior Management Team to ensure the hotel runs efficiently on a day-to-day basis.
* Lead, motivate, and communicate effectively with the team to develop and maintain a high-performing team culture.
* Manage all areas within your remit to deliver positive customer experiences through the implementation of standards and service culture.
* Maintain and develop systems, policies, and procedures to ensure the smooth running of the business.
* Available to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and public holidays.
* Assist in all Food and Beverage Outlets across the Hotel as required.
* Responsibility while on shift for all Food & Beverage areas, including planning and coordinating service, supervision and training of team members, cash handling, and guest assistance.
* Be proactive and have a desire to develop standards and promote continuous improvement among employees.
* Be fully conversant on the daily business and the hotels upcoming business.
* Ensure each department is operating in accordance with hotel standards and staffing levels.
* To be fully conversant with all areas connected to Health & Safety and Hygiene.
* Responsibility for the Health, Safety, and security of all guests, team members, and the Hotel facilities.
* Be courteous and professional, focused on providing a consistently high standard of service.
* Conduct operational training with employees on a regular basis.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess at least 1 year's experience as Duty Manager in a 4* hotel setting.
