Physiotherapist – Acute Hospital Setting (Kildare Area)
Emerald Locums is recruiting on behalf of our client for a Staff Grade Physiotherapist role in the Kildare region.
* Location: Kildare
* Contract Type: Full-time preferred, part-time considered
* Duration: 3-month contract with potential to extend
* Grades Considered: Staff Grade and Senior Grade
* Rate: €30-€40 per hour

Role Overview
We’re seeking a CORU-registered Physiotherapist to support a busy, multidisciplinary team within an acute hospital setting. The role involves managing a varied caseload including general rehabilitation, orthopaedics, neurology, and older persons’ care.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a diverse clinical caseload, providing patient-centred assessments and treatment plans.
* Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to deliver effective care.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in line with professional standards.
* Participate in on-call and weekend rotas as required.
* Support student placements if suitably experienced.
* Contribute to service audits, meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
* CORU registration
* Relevant degree in Physiotherapy.
* Experience in an acute hospital or similar healthcare setting.
* Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
* A commitment to continuous professional development (CPD) and providing quality patient care.
Desirable
* Experience in neurology, older persons’ rehabilitation, or orthopaedics.
* Familiarity with HIQA standards and clinical audit processes.
* Comfortable using clinical systems and contributing to service development.
