Our Client, a leading Construction Consultancy firm is currently seeking a Senior Cost Manager to join their team in Dublin for a project across Ireland.
Due to ongoing expansion, they are looking for suitable candidates with a mix of Public and Private sector project experience for the positions of Senior QS. The successful Candidates will undertake Quantity Surveying duties independently whilst reporting to our Management Team in the delivery of these projects.
Typical duties may include:
1. Preparation of Development Budgets and Feasibility Appraisals
2. Implementation of Value Engineering
3. Preparation of tender documentation including Bills of Quantities
4. Analysis of tender returns
5. Preparation of contract documents and administration of Building & Civil Engineering Conditions of Contract
6. Preparing Payment Recommendations
7. Agreement of Compensation Costs
8. Managing support staff
The ideal candidates would have the following qualifications and traits:
1. Chartered or working towards chartership, with a B.Sc. in Quantity Surveying
2. 5 to 10 years post qualification experience (PQS preferred)
3. Ability to work proactively within project teams
