Job Purpose
We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Finance Operations Analyst to join our Finance Operations Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and delivering on system & process change initiatives within the Finance Division.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders within the Finance Division and the wider Business.
* Perform daily premium receivable and reconciliation functions.
* Analyse premium collection data across various services, employers, and policy types.
* Investigate cases where incorrect premium has been received.
* Analyse payroll instruction requests and monthly completion rates.
* Reconcile premium transactions.
* Assist in improving current processes.
* Conduct financial analysis to support business operations and decision-making processes.
* Monitor and analyse financial performance, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
* Coordinate the monthly reports to capture missed premiums.
Requirements:
* QFA qualification essential.
* Degree in finance or relevant discipline desired but not required.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in a finance division, finance operations, financial analysis, or a related role.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
* Strong analysis, reporting, and numeracy skills.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
