Supply Chain Planning Manager - North County Dublin
The primary responsibilities of this role include the development, implementation, and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve and support the business and supply chain activity. This position demands proactive identification of potential developments to ensure internal guidelines and procedures, as well as the design of robust control strategies and quality relationships.
Key Duties:
* Leadership, development, and mentoring of the end-to-end Demand and Supply Planning team
* Proactive ownership of the development of optimised inventory planning and implementation of safety stocks to support the business across all categories, channels, markets, and business streams
* Hands-on approach to the implementation of industry-standard best practices across the supply chain planning function, through the ongoing improvement of inventory planning positioning for the business and removing the need for extensive manual processes
* Implementation of MRP for finished goods and support of the extended operations teams in implementing MRP at the factories
* Drive the scheduling of Finished goods production at the supply base, aligned with forecasting requirements and capacity planning at the factories, to ensure optimised availability at global distribution warehouses
* Identification of targets and KPIs for supply chain planning and work to support their development
* Support of the procurement function in developing and monitoring supplier management protocols and control structures across the business
* Developing and implementing supply chain strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and optimise the end-to-end supply chain
Requirements:
* Strong industry background in both supply and demand planning is essential
