Head Bartender
Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, this role ensures efficient and professional operation and customer service in accordance with company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the smooth running of restaurant operations
* Ensure end-of-day restaurant/bar closing procedures are followed
* Conduct cash count and prepare the restaurant for breakfast
* Deliver cocktail training to staff and maintain brand standards
* Adhere to restaurant and/or bar service and preparation standards (SOPs)
* Have knowledge of all beverage menus
* Upsell throughout customer service interactions
* Conduct oneself in a professional and courteous manner at all times
* Ensure customer satisfaction throughout their dining experience
* Inform manager of special requirements or difficulties
* Be responsible for the bar area when on shift
* Comply with health and safety policies and procedures
* Perform thorough deep cleansing of bars and surroundings as required
* Carry out additional duties as requested by management
* Maintain HACCP and cleaning schedules, ensuring high standards
* Participate in training and personnel exercises to improve performance
* Communicate hotel services to guests as required
* Receive customer complaints in a courteous manner and report to manager immediately
* Arrive for duty on time, dressed in full clean uniform and wearing name badge
* Maintain the highest standards of personal hygiene and grooming
