Duties and Responsibilities of the Role:
1. Develop and implement a strategic marketing plan aligned with the hotel's overall business goals.
2. Oversee the marketing team to plan and execute social media campaigns that align with the hotel's brand identity and marketing objectives while ensuring the team engages and responds to comments or inquiries.
3. Identify target audiences and key market segments for focused marketing efforts.
4. Maintain and enhance the hotel's brand image and positioning.
5. Ensure consistency in messaging across all marketing channels.
6. Create and manage a paid digital advertising strategy, including:
1. Platform Selection
2. Ad Messaging & Creatives
3. Budget & Bidding Strategy
4. Landing Pages
5. Tracking & Analytics
7. Manage and coordinate marketing events, launches, and promotional activities.
8. Manage the planning, creation, design, and distribution of the company's e-zine's, ensuring that each issue is engaging, informative, and aligned with the company's brand and objectives.
9. Analyze online metrics and adjust strategies to optimize performance.
10. Plan and manage all stages of the hotel's professional photo and video production, from pre-production to post-production, including developing creative briefs and storyboards, logistics, styling, and budgeting. While on shoot day managing the photographers, videographers, stylists, models, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
11. Manage and coordinate the creation of engaging content for various platforms, including the hotel's website, social media, and marketing collateral.
12. Develop and coordinate promotions and special offers to drive bookings and revenue.
13. Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, influencers, and industry partners.
14. Manage, write, edit, and proofread press releases for a variety of company announcements, including product launches, corporate milestones, partnerships, and other newsworthy events.
15. Manage and coordinate media events and familiarization trips.
16. Work closely with the sales team to develop marketing materials that support sales efforts.
17. Assist in creating packages and promotions for different market segments.
18. Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
19. Utilize insights to adapt marketing strategies.
20. Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
21. Monitor expenses and evaluate return on investment for marketing activities.
22. Utilize analytics tools to measure the performance of marketing campaigns.
23. Provide regular reports and insights to management on key performance indicators.
Requirements for the role:
1. Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or a related field; additional certifications in marketing are advantageous.
2. Proven experience (2+ years) in a senior marketing role, preferably in luxury hospitality.
3. Strong understanding of digital marketing trends and tools.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative marketing ideas.
6. Data-driven mindset with proficiency in analytics tools.
7. Project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
8. Familiarity with graphic design and content creation tools is a plus.
9. Team leadership and collaboration skills.
10. Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
