About the Role:
We at The Noel Group are delighted to be seeking a highly skilled and passionate Sous Chef to join one of our Dublin based clients. Our client is a well-known hotel that offers a restaurant, gastropub, and private event catering, serving high-quality, innovative dishes to a diverse clientele.
As Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef, leading and inspiring the kitchen team while ensuring the highest culinary and hygiene standards. The Sous Chef would need to be someone with a love for hospitality and creating delicious dishes.

Key Responsibilities
* Assisting the Head Chef in maintaining high standards of quality, service and presentation
* Managing and mentoring kitchen staff, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
* Overseeing food preparation, cooking, and plating to uphold consistent quality
* Maintain exceptional standards in food preparation, presentation, and taste
* Ensure full compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene protocols
* Assist with portion control, stock management, and cost-efficient menu planning
Key Requirements
* Previous experience as a Senior Sous Chef or Sous Chef in a hotel or high-volume environment
* A proven track record of managing and motivating kitchen teams effectively
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
* Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
* A solid understanding of HACCP and food safety compliance
* The ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure
