This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established Irish retail chain as the Head of Ecommerce. The company operates a high-volume, fast-paced business with a broad range of product categories across stores nationwide and a strong online presence internationally.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement a successful ecommerce strategy, driving online sales targets, increasing profitability, and growing the online business.
2. Responsibility for week-by-week online sales performance for each brand category.
3. Analyze web analytics to inform changes that support business growth and website performance.
4. Continuously analyze online marketing performance and use data to make key commercial decisions.
5. Analyze website sales and margin, optimizing based on findings.
6. Ensure consistent reviews and enhancements of website content and user experience to drive frequency of visits, effective product cross-selling, and increased basket size.
7. Work with the Marketing team to execute strategy through content calendars, focusing on seasonal campaigns, new product launches, and key dates.
8. Oversee key ecommerce projects.
9. Develop, lead, and coach the Ecommerce team.
10. Manage annual and weekly promotional planning processes with the buying team.
11. Collaborate with the in-house graphic designer for all website images.
12. Act as key contact for all technical issues related to the website and liaise accordingly with the website developer.
