A fantastic new opportunity for a Regional Sales Executive to work alongside a global specialist bank. The ideal Regional Sales Executive will have an innovative and entrepreneurial approach, who would be able to identify prospective clients and generate new business for the company.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Source and develop a portfolio of clients across a variety of industries
2. Develop Sales channels and build brand recognition within the region through a wide range of activity including business networking, organising sponsorship events, attendance at exhibitions, developing speaking opportunities, telephone solicitation and clients meetings.
3. Clearly articulate to prospective clients how Investec can add value to their business using a consultative and solutions based approach understanding the client's needs and fully explaining our value proposition.
4. Meet agreed targets and KPI's.
5. Maintain an extensive knowledge of Treasury products.
6. Ensure all internal processes - onboarding and credit- are followed and maintain an outstanding customer experience
7. Ensure high standards of professionalism and adhere to all regulatory and compliance requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
8. Strong academic background with third level degree and/or QFA qualification.
9. Experience in a financial services sales role.
10. Proven sales, networking and business development skills and expertise.
11. Strong client relationship management skills and a track record of delivering for the client.
12. Excellent verbal, written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
13. Proficient in the usage of Outlook and CRM systems.
14. Target driven and self-motivated with high levels of self-discipline and drive with the desire to make the role their own.
15. A team player with experience of working in a team oriented environment.
16. Full Driving licence.
17. A good knowledge of corporate credit and ability to navigate corporate structures is desirable.
18. Understanding of payments and payment platforms.
19. Interest in Foreign exchange markets.
20. Strong Mathematical skills is desirable.
