The Opportunity
We have a number of available openings for summer students. The main function of these positions is providing assistance/support to QA & QC, General Production & Warehousing areas of the business.
Responsibilities
1. General lab duties:
2. Preparation of instruments for analysis, logbook records, analytical glassware.
3. Assistance with cleaning of glassware, disposal of completed analysis.
4. Use of Word, Excel as required for reporting purposes.
5. Participation in ongoing projects where required.
6. All laboratory duties are required to be carried out in accordance with GMP and Safety procedures.
7. General Production duties:
8. Perform all activities necessary for the packaging of product.
9. Carry out relevant area & material checks.
10. Perform all necessary reconciliation and cleaning activities.
11. Perform all necessary size change activities to set up the next batch.
12. Carry out all activities in an effective and efficient manner.
Essential Knowledge & Experience
1. Excellent interpersonal, communication, organisational, and planning skills, with a proactive, self-motivated approach.
2. Strong documentation practices, problem-solving abilities, and a flexible approach to ensure efficient departmental operations.
Education
Studying for a Bachelor Degree in a Science/Engineering or equivalent discipline.
Additional Information
1. This is a short-term summer placement position.
2. Position is based in Kerry, Ireland.
3. This position requires you to be 100% on site/in the office.
