Job Description
Overview
The Project Coordinator reports to the Manager, Brand & Communications. This role works closely with project team members, release managers and leads to help deliver major organisational projects efficiently. This role will be primarily focused on supporting brand and marketing projects for the Group Marketing function, in order to support and increase brand equity, revenue, employee engagement and reach of our community initiatives.
Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities
Operational Management
* Collate and share relevant documentation and reports with project teams
* Provide comprehensive and detailed information and regular support to stakeholders across project deliverables.
* Be a key point of contact for various working groups
* Develop in-depth understanding of project scope and i.e. timeframes, financials, outcomes
* Ensuring resources and equipment are always available
* Understand and adhere to formal escalation and review processes across project management and coordination of activity
* Provide support to project/release managers and business leaders when requested
* Thorough project/release documentation to be maintained and shared when appropriate.
* Create, review and analyse reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
* Assist with tasks as required, including coordinating brand and marketing material and presentations
* Manage the administrative tasks, such as document and information distribution, report collation and communication support.
* Contribute to the Group Marketing team to delivery of quality product to production.
People Leadership
* Foster collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, such as Release/Project Managers, DEV and Test Managers, IT Ops, business stakeholders and the EPMO.
* Influence and liaise with internal stakeholders to achieve the strategic objectives of Brand & Marketing
* Stakeholder Management of 3rd party vendors to ensure smooth project coordination and service delivery.
Governance Risk & Compliance
* Ensure compliance with all regulations, industry standards and MPMS values.
* Keep up to date with regulatory or legislative changes that may impact reporting processes.
* Promote a best-practice culture within the business through training, education and compliance awareness.
Experience & Personal Attributes
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
* 2+ years of previous release or project coordination tasks
* 3+ years of experience in information systems operations environment in systems analysis or development
* Finance or Superannuation experience preferred
* Knowledge of software development lifecycle
* Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion
* Demonstrated effective leadership and analytical skills
* Advanced written and verbal communication skills are a must
