In Dublin, our actuarial team offers a wide range of life and non-life business consulting and audit services. We work closely with the actuarial teams in both the UK and across Europe, often on multi-service line engagements with our Business Consulting colleagues.
We are currently looking to recruit a non-life actuarial senior manager to join our team.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Involved in the successful delivery and management of actuarial and multidisciplinary projects, including client relationships and internal team performance.
* Drive the production of client deliverables, emphasizing quality and teamwork, while assisting in the management and development of junior colleagues.
* Participate in research and development to support the growth of areas of technical excellence, adopting an account management mindset to identify client-specific needs.
* Confidently lead client interactions and build market profile.
* Work across a broad range of projects as part of the assurance and business consulting practices.
To qualify for the role you must have
* Previous experience in managing teams and delivering projects.
* Demonstrated ability in problem-solving and managing multiple tasks.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
* Focus on deadlines, discipline and process, yet flexible and pragmatic.
* Professional attitude and demeanor.
* Confident dealing with clients.
Technical Skills:
* Qualified Actuary, with a minimum of 8 years PQE and over 10 years of total experience in non-life insurance/reinsurance or consultancy, preferably with IFRS 17 experience.
* Excellent technical and analytical skills.
* Non-life actuarial software experience (e.g., RESQ, WinRes, Arius).
* Awareness of and interest in the challenges facing the non-life insurance industry.
