About the Role:
Are you passionate about delivering exceptional client service and leading high-performing teams in the financial services industry? We are seeking an experienced Investor Relations Manager to join a dynamic team within a globally renowned organisation specialising in private equity and real estate funds.
As part of this role, you will oversee the administration of a portfolio of funds, ensuring client expectations are exceeded while adhering to regulatory standards. You will also lead a small team, fostering a collaborative and efficient environment, and act as the primary client contact for your portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the administration of private equity and real estate funds, ensuring adherence to service agreements and regulatory requirements.
* Manage and develop a team of supervisors and administrators, providing leadership and mentorship.
* Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining effective communication and relationships.
* Administer shareholder registers, process payments, and handle subscriptions, capital calls, distributions, and transfers.
* Deliver accurate and timely investor-related services, including database management and updates.
* Ensure client deadlines and fund rules are met while maintaining operational efficiency.
* Support audits and liaise with fund participants and advisers.
About You:
To excel in this role, you will bring:
* A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* At least 7 years of experience in an investor relations role, ideally within private equity or hedge funds.
* A keen interest in financial markets and the alternative investments industry.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
