Overview
Calling all high-calibre Electrical Project Engineers/Managers! We have a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing & reputable Irish based, internationally reaching company.
This new vacancy is looking for someone to manage their team of 10 engineers with an M&E or electrical focus on industrial factory projects ranging from working on 100k euro refrigeration machines & solar panels to multi-million euro new industrial sites in Waterford and surrounding counties. This role will be mostly based in the Waterford HQ with 2 days a week travelling in Waterford or surrounding counties on-sites. Candidate must have their own vehicle for this role.

The Role
* Management of the design, implementation and handover of multi-disciplinary engineering projects; focusing on a broad range of Group Projects from Building Services, Production facility Upgrades, Project management of small and large-scale projects.
* Manage and coordinate elements on multiple projects on various production sites for the duration of projects;
* Design and tender of engineering projects, including generating user requirement specifications, tender specifications and tender drawings;
* Verification, commissioning and handover of engineering systems to end users;
* Develop project budgets and manage for the lifecycle of the project;
* Work as part of a wider project team and assist in the delivery of key projects;
* Design engineering systems and upgrades and implement the same;
* Provide technical support to production sites.
The Candidate
* A 3rd Level qualification in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Project Management, or similar.
* A minimum of 2 years work experience in a Project Engineering role within Engineering Project Management functions with experience working on medium and large-scale capital projects.
* Certified qualification in Project Management preferable;
* Proven experience in delivering projects from conception to completion;
* Strong knowledge of Health & Safety requirements and legislation;
* Flexibility and willingness to travel to production sites throughout Ireland, and later possibly the UK if required.
