Job Description
My client is looking to speak with CHP Technicians based in Dublin.To Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance work
Key Responsibilities:
1. Monitor system performance and take daily readings of the plant.
2. Maintain Engineering area in terms of good house keeping.
3. Contribute on identification, quantification, implementation and presentation of equipment continuous improvement projects
4. Making sure maintenance tasks are completed in accordance with site policies and procedures and equipment operation and maintenance manuals.
5. Troubleshoot equipment related process problems and equipment failures to determine cause and to investigate repairs.
6. Ensure effective completion and ongoing review of planned equipment maintenance routines on MAXIMO (site CMMS)
7. Ensure all executed maintenance activities are recorded on MAXIMO (site CMMS)
8. Support Engineering and Operations personnel on continuous improvements and monitor equipment in order to recommend process improvements.
9. Minimise downtime on equipment, through fast response, effective root cause analysis and good problem-solving techniques.
10. Effective analysis and elimination of recurring equipment problems.
11. Take part in after hours on-call roster for CHP with one other CHP technician.
12. Contribute to a pleasant and positive teamwork atmosphere.

Skills required:
14. Strong reciprocating engine background with the ability to display a high level of skill and understanding regarding internal combustion engines, generator sets, turbo chargers, intercoolers, ideally natural gas engines, but will consider applicants that have experience with diesel standby or other engine technologies (e.g. compression engines).
15. Knowledge of maintenance of natural and bio gas boilers
16. Must be available to work over-time and occasionally travel on weekends. Good communication skills, teamwork abilities and initiative.
17. Proven ability to work well as part of a team & on own with minimum supervision.
18. Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work in a team and/or on own initiative.
