Job Function: As a Chemical Engineer you will be required to give customers the best-in-class quality service. You will provide on-site corrective/preventative maintenance and offer after-sales technical and commercial support to existing and new water treatment chemical customers.

Duties and Responsibilities
Chemical Treatment Service
* Provide on-site service, chemical treatment analysis, monitoring and account management to existing customers/contracts.
* Capable of routine maintenance of standard chemical dosing systems, including programming of dosing controllers, fault finding and troubleshooting of complex dosing systems.
* Capable of designing chemical dosing solutions, including equipment specification, PID generation, site integration.
* Gather site information and compile site logbooks for customers, maintain and audit.
* Initiate water treatment program on new accounts and commission new dosing/control installations.
Sales & After Sales Support
* Liaise and work with the appropriate sales team.
* Look for opportunities and where appropriate to sell parts, consumables, plant upgrades and refurbishment work, working with the appropriate sales team.
* Identify, arrange and attend sales calls to potential Customers.
* Offer feedback on future product development, features and functions.
* Assist with marketing programmes such as seminars and exhibitions and deliver presentations as required.
* Develop and implement a suitable sales strategy for the territory.
* Technical Tender assessment and review.
Customer Relationship Management
* To develop and maintain good working relationships with customers.
* Network within existing and potential customers.
* Provide customer recommendations for best working practices.
* Gather information in preparation for client review meetings.
* Feedback to customers on future product development, features and functions and show how they will add value to their business.
* Offer the client after-sales technical and commercial support.
* Timely completion of site tasks and activities as required.
Water Treatment & Legionella
* Provide Legionella control and ensure customer compliance with ACOP L8 where appropriate.
* Provide site operator training on the use of water treatment products and Legionella awareness training.
Health & Safety
* Review site water services risk assessment.
* Completion of risk assessments, method statements and work reports, and all other documentation to a high standard and in a timely manner.
* Provide updates to line manager on any issues that may result in financial, reputational or operational impact on the Company, seek guidance and support as required to ensure the service provided to our customers is a priority.
* Gather site information and compile site logbooks.
* Maintain and audit Site logbooks.
* Timely reporting on progress or delays.
* Be fully aware of minimum PPE requirements for chemical exposure and champion the highest level of risk assessment and chemical awareness to, and for, our existing clients.
