Our services range from small drape and lighting events to large-scale set and stage designs. We are looking for a highly creative and experienced Event Production Designer who is passionate about event design, has an eye for detail, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Job Summary:
The Event Production Designer will be responsible for creating compelling stage and set design content that enhances the overall event experience. This includes event branding, stage and set design, digital assets, signage, and more. You will work closely with event planners, set designers, and the production team to ensure that all design elements are aligned with the event’s theme and objectives. The role requires a deep understanding of both 2D and 3D design, as you will be involved in translating creative concepts into physical environments.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Set and Stage Design: Collaborate with the set design and production team to create graphic elements for stages, backdrops, and other event structures, ensuring that the visual designs complement the physical environment.
2. 3D Visualization: Use design software to produce 3D mockups or visualizations of event spaces, including stage setups, decor, and interactive installations.
3. Event Branding: Develop cohesive visual identities for events, including logos, colour schemes, and typography that align with the client’s vision and the event’s theme.
4. Promotional Materials: Design digital and print internal marketing collateral such as invitations, posters, banners, brochures, email campaigns, and social media assets.
5. Signage & Wayfinding: Create effective and visually appealing signage that directs and informs guests, maintaining a consistent look across the event space.
6. Client Presentations: Assist in preparing visual presentations to communicate design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
7. Vendor Coordination: Work with printers, fabricators, and other vendors to ensure all event graphic elements are produced to a high standard and meet the project’s requirements. Negotiate contracts with vendors.
8. Digital Media: Design event-related multimedia assets, including screen presentations, animations, and interactive displays.
9. Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all designs are delivered on time and within budget. Liaising between Client Account managers and Work Shop Manager.
10. Trend Awareness: Stay updated on design trends, especially those related to the event and entertainment industries, and apply them to enhance client projects.
Skills & Qualifications:
1. Education: Qualification in Event Production Design.
2. Experience: 3+ years of experience in Event Production design.
3. Software Proficiency:
* Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
* 3D design software (SketchUp, 3ds Max, Cinema 4D, or similar)
* Knowledge of video editing software (After Effects or Premiere) is a plus.

2. Understanding of Set Design: Familiarity with set and stage design principles, including the ability to work in 3D spaces and collaborate with production teams.
3. Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, ensuring all visual elements are of the highest quality.
4. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly present ideas and solutions to clients and team members.
5. Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot design challenges and adapt to changing project requirements.
6. Time Management: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience working on large-scale events, festivals, or live shows.
* Familiarity with environmental event production design and spatial design principles.
* Knowledge of sustainable design practices in event production.
* Experience working with vendors and overseeing the production of printed and digital materials.

Pay: Up to €45,000.00 per year
