We supply a comprehensive range of premium brands to Laboratories within the fields of Agriculture, Food Manufacturing, Biotechnology, Chemical, Education, Medical and Pharmaceuticals. As we continue to expand, we now require a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team to assist with daily operations including our trade compliance and customs declarations. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in ensuring our operations run smoothly and in full compliance with UK and international trade regulations. Position Overview: Our Logistics and Operations administratorwill be responsible for assisting management with daily tasks as required to ensure the smooth running of its operations, logistics and trade compliance. Key Responsibilities: Assisting with full customs declaration process, ensuring timely and accurate filings Organise collection of goods and any associated trade compliance paperwork Work closely with warehousing and logistics, providing assistance as required. Ensure accurate classification of goods, tariff codes, and compliance with customs procedures. Stay up-to-date with the latest changes in trade regulations, tariffs, and compliance guidelines and advise management of any risks and best practises. Maintain a thorough record of all trade documents and declarations. Administrative duties as required by senior management to assist other team members during busy periods. Requirements: Previous experience in trade compliance, customs declarations, or a similar role is preferable but not essential. Training will be provided. Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Ability to work without supervision Strong communication both verbal and written Good interpersonal skills A team player The person should be adaptable so they can assist other employees as required. A proactive attitude with the ability to solve problems independently. Proficient in word, excel and data management along with relevant qualifications to verify.
