Job Description
Nua Healthcare Services (Nua) is a leading provider of private healthcare in Ireland, specializing in residential and supported living services for children and adults with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out assessments and treatments at clinics
* Analyse voice patterns using technical equipment and examine factors involved in producing speech
* Collaborate with service users, family members, carers, and other staff to set treatment plans
* Introduce new ways of working with staff teams to prevent future speech and language difficulties
* Deliver training to staff teams to support service user recovery
* Refer service users to other specialists when necessary
* Liaise with professionals such as behaviour specialists, psychologists, doctors, and ear/nose/throat specialists
* Maintain detailed clinical notes and draft reports on client symptoms, treatments, and progress
Requirements
* Level 8 degree in Speech and Language Therapy
* Registered member of CORU
* Qualification in FEDS assessment, treatment, and care planning across the specified populations
* Knowledge of standards and legislation relevant to the area
